Set the Merge options to determine how data from the HP should be incorporated into the active database.
Match Criteria - Select the field or fields that determine matching records in both databases.
If Records Match - Select what action should be taken to Contacts, Activities, Notes and History in the destination database when a match is encountered. The options are:
Replace with newest [Contact, Activities, Notes, History]
Replace with source [Contact, Activities, Notes, History]
Do not change [Contact, Activities, Notes, History]
If Records Do Not Match - Select what data, if any, should be added to the destination database when an HP record does not match any record in the destination database. The options are:
Add
Do not add
Confirm Each Match - Check this item to be prompted for confirmation before any changes occur when a matching contact is found. If this item is not checked, changes for matching records occur automatically.
OK - Begin merging with the selected options.
Cancel - Cancel the Direct Link session.
Use Defaults - Reset Merge options to the default values.
